Central Coast Wedding Photographer Keith Dunlop — Devin and Don at the Drive-In

It was fitting that Devin and Don suggested the old Valley Drive-In Theater as a location for their engagement session since they had their first date at a drive-in (Toy Story 3 was the movie). The old Lompoc landmark is now consider by many locals to be an eyesore, and while that may be true, it’s still a very cool location for pictures. The projection room and snack bar have been taken over by nature, but you can still find a relatively intact projector, and even old film stock littering the floor. It was a lot of fun exploring the site, and I’ll keep it in mind in the future as a location for adventurous clients.
