I’m always on the lookout for cool new wedding venues, and I discovered one recently that I’m very excited about. The Groves on 41 is a pristine country estate in Templeton, and best of all, it’s a working olive farm. The owners have a love of the land and have put a painstaking amount of work into making the property both functional as well as beautiful. What I love most about the property is the usable space. In addition to 3 acres of main lawn space, there are numerous side areas and hidden garden spots that make finding picture locations a joy for any photographer.

I was pretty impressed with the property when I toured it in January — when nothing is in bloom — I can only image what it looks like when fully green and flowering. I can’t wait to shoot a wedding here!
